Empire Building Inc. specializes in painting and remodeling services. Any quote or proposal provided by the company is valid for a period of 7 days unless stated otherwise.
The final cost of services may be subject to changes if hidden conditions or those not covered in the original contract are identified. Such changes will be communicated in writing to the client before proceeding with the project.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
• Providing proper access to the site where the work will be performed.
• Ensuring that the area is prepared for the requested services, such as the removal of furniture or any objects that may interfere.
• Informing us of any pre-existing conditions that may affect the quality or safety of the work to be carried out.
5. Payment and Billing
• An initial deposit will be required before starting any project, and the remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment for services must be made in accordance with the terms specified on the invoice.
• Late payments may be subject to additional fees, and Empire Building Inc. reserves the right to suspend work if the client fails to meet payment obligations.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
The client may cancel a service contract within three (3) days of signing, without penalty. After this period, any cancellation may be subject to charges for costs incurred up to the date of cancellation.
Empire Building Inc. reserves the right to cancel a project in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions or if site conditions are unsafe for the execution of the work.
7. Service Warranty
The warranty for work performed by Empire Building Inc. is variable and will be specified in a personalized document provided for each project. This warranty covers workmanship defects and defective materials, provided that the maintenance instructions we provide are followed.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Empire Building Inc., its employees, contractors, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website, including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.
Our maximum liability to the client shall not exceed the amount paid for the services contracted.
