Site Update: Autotweeting Share Buys Limited to 3
Promoting Empire Avenue is a good thing. Driving the Twitterverse crazy with hundreds of share buy announcements is not. To prevent the latter while still encouraging some of the former, the Empire Avenue team has place a restriction on the number of the times the new autotweet for share purchases can be used in a day. The limit is set at three autotweets in a 24 hour period.

In a blog post early this morning (e)DUPS announced that Empire Avenue employees are now for sale. Not surprisingly, shares are rocketing up.

Site News: Empire Avenue to Discontinue Secondary Market
In a post on the Empire Avenue blog today, the development team announced that direct trades between influencers (members) would be discontinued as of September 28th. This trading system was sometimes known as the secondary market. Access to this functionality will still be available through the developers API in the event that third-party programmers would like to provide the capability going forward.

Empire Avenue today added public profiles to their social media gaming site. These profiles are available to individuals that are not registered with the site or not logged in. This now makes it possible for those clicking on an Empire Avenue profile link to see personalized information rather than just the site’s external home (registration) page.
