Meet Cindy Smith (aka Reign). She is a city girl from the Midwest who moved “to the middle of nowhere” about 4 years ago. She dishes that she loves dogs but is “allergic to cat dander as well as unkind people.” Cindy was a videographer and editor prior to her major move and life change. She jokes, “If you would like to pay me a ridiculous amount of money for a project, I’m completely fine with that.” Hmm. I’m not certain that she is joking.
Next, Cindy’s quest for ‘faux’ cash.
The Rundown
I heard about Empire Avenue from:
I came across an article on Mashable about EA and immediately knew I had to get into the beta for this will definitely be the next big thing for social media.
My hopes for Empire Avenue are:
I see such potential for EA to becoming this huge one-stop shop for everyone’s social media/networking needs. Plus, you get the power of making someone’s day by maxing out on them as well as crushing their spirits by selling every single share you own of them! Sorry, got a little distracted there. Yes, networking. It’ll be wonderful for networking. :]
I knew I was hooked on Empire Ave when:
I knew I was hooked on EA when I felt that incredible rush from that
first purchase. I would scream : “I bought you! Now I own you!!!”
Unfortunately, no one could hear me apart from my dogs and let’s be
honest, they are all too used to the crazy antics of their eccentric
owner. Come to think of it, hey, I own them too! And I didn’t even
have to spend an eave!
Empire Ave is more important than:
food & television, for I’ve forgone both on several occasions just to sit there in front my laptop, studying the mock stocks in an effort to bring home the faux cash. I’ve also dropped 5 lbs since starting EA, aah! Empire Avenue = best diet ever! (Suck it, South Beach Diet!)
The things I look for when buying a stock are:
The things I look for when buying a stock are dividends, div %, activity & history. It also helps if they have a blog, but only if they actually post to it. Oh, and if they look like Bradley Cooper, I’m so buying max shares!
The thing I love most about Empire Ave is:
The thing I love most about Empire Ave is that pretty much everyone I’ve “met” has been extremely nice and helpful. Kindness rocks!
I think the people on the leader boards are:
I think the people on the leader boards are the most intelligent, attractive, and awesome people out there. (Especially the ones who wear hats in their profile pictures!)
The EAer I would most like to meet is:
The EAer I would most like to meet is Gina Montana. She’s been my partner in crime in several other online adventures and is a force tobe reckoned with. Plus, she picked a ridiculously fabulous name!
Empire Avenue has changed my life by:
Empire Avenue has changed my life by teaching me that life is nothing without money, even if it’s faux money. :]
I would also like you to know:
I would also like you to know that I just saved a bunch of money on cable by switching to Empire Avenue!
